RHINE CASTLES & WINE
Cologne, vineyards, and the romantic Rhine valley
Cologne is the oldest German city. Rich in Roman history, it is over 2000 years old and offers a multitude of sights ranging from Romanesque churches to world-famous museums, from parks to inviting pedestrian zones. The most famous landmark is, of course, the cathedral (a UNESCO World Heritage site). It remains the best known architectural monument in Germany. Also enjoy Cologne’s flourishing art scene and lively night life. Rüdesheim is situated in the Upper Middle Rhine valley which with its famous fairytale like castles and picturesque villages became a UNESCO World heritage site in 2002. You will see the world-renowned vineyards and stroll down the Drosselgasse full of enticing shops and cafes.
The itinerary can be tailored to your group's individual needs and requirements.
