COLOGNE HIGHLIGHTS – À LA CARTE!
Cologne, Rüdesheim and the mighty Rhine
Cologne is the oldest German city. Rich in Roman history, it is over 2000 years old and offers a multitude of sights ranging from Romanesque churches to world-famous museums, from parks to inviting pedestrian zones. The most famous landmark is, the cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage). Started in 1248,
construction work was interrupted for centuries before the original plans were resumed and completed in the 19th century.
Cologne also offers a flourishing avant-garde art scene and lively night life. It is distinctive and original, a city with its own dialect and its own mentality.
