Cologne has been the major German art metropolis since the sixties, and many prominent artists currently reside here. It boasts over 100 galleries which offer a wide range of art from all over the world. It also hosts the major international art trade fair, Art Cologne. There are numerous private collections for art lovers to discover in this charming, cosmopolitan city. This tour will introduce you to the most famous galleries and museums as well as taking in many of the major cultural sites in the city.

In the Wallraf-Richartz Museum you will see one of the largest collections of classical paintings in Germany.  A visit to the Museum Ludwig, which houses the largest collection of Pop Art outside of the USA, enables you to view works by Andy Warhol, George Segal and many by Pablo Picasso.

And last but not least you will call on a local artist in his atelier. Over a glass of wine you can learn about where he gets his inspirations from and what influences him, and you may also watch the artist at work.
